Is the Free plan really free?
Yes — the Free plan is free forever. It includes 1 user, up to 3 active projects, the Leads CRM, and the quote builder + price book. No credit card required. When you're ready for the customer portal, payments, team members, inventory, and unlimited projects, upgrade to Pro or Agency. Paid plans start with a 30-day trial.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account settings. Plan changes take effect immediately; billing is prorated.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Your billing information is stored securely by Stripe — we never see your full card details.
Is the Stripe integration for sending invoices separate from my subscription?
Yes. Your PoolBuilderHQ subscription is billed separately. When you connect your own Stripe account in Settings, that's used for sending payment requests to your homeowner customers — completely separate.
Do you offer refunds?
If you're not happy within the first 7 days, contact us and we'll make it right. After that, we don't offer refunds for partial billing periods.
